Education

"Apart from agriculture there are not much opportunities here. Even, those engaged in agriculture have to remain without any work for six months in a year as they depend on mono-cropping. The same situation prevails for the horticulture sector except for technical jobs. The educated who have studied management and technology migrate towards big cities in search of jobs as no company either private or government have their base here and no technical institutes e.g. ITI are established here to nurture the technical skills.

Modern education provides a strong base to students and they can understand the basic concepts, career options in various disciplines without concentrating only on a few streams like arts and science. The mindset, creativity and the horizon of thoughts is widening and because of this students can make their foray into diverse fields.

I see a good and bright future for the next generation if basic infrastructure is provided to this generation like technical and agricultural institutes. If this kind of infrastructure is provided these students may turn out to be good entrepreneurs and leaders and not only will they stay here but also help generate revenue with the use of local resources and create employment in the rural areas.”
