As a part of its activities to promote eco-tourism in Himachal Pradesh, EcoSoc also promotes the local culture and traditions. For example, EcoSoc makes arrangements wherein the local tribal can showcase their performing arts (e.g. folk dances) to the tourists, while also getting an opportunity to display and sell their handicrafts to visiting tourists.
