The Himachal Pradesh State Handicrafts & Handlooms Corporation Limited is responsible for the nurturing and promotion of the handicrafts industry of the State. It ensures an overall growth and welfare of the artisans and weavers and extends assistance in various forms like imparting trainings, assistance in procurement of raw materials and promotion of financial welfare. The Organization also plays a major role in the prevention of the extinction of crafts and reviving of those crafts that have faced extinction thanks to lack of appropriate patronage.
