The library is also blessed with the collections of the works of the Vth Dalai Lama, Mipham Rinpoche and Padma Lingpa. The general library contains a rich collection of books – in various languages – covering Tibet, Sikkim, Ladakh, Nepal and Bhutan and topics like History, Philosophy and Buddhism; journals and periodicals from prominent organizations and institutions; etc. It also stores a museum which is a rich storehouse of Tibetan iconography and religious art.
