The Department of Textiles & Handicrafts is responsible for imparting relevant training in craft centers, extension of Health Insurance Schemes for handloom weavers – introduced by the Government of India – through ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited and imparting of “High Skilled Development Training Program” for traditional artisans, weavers and passed out trainees of Craft Centers.
