An independent cultural organization based in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, it is working for the preservation and promotion of the traditional performing arts of Tibet. Some of its main interests are Lhamo (traditional Tibetan opera), Tibetan dances and traditional Tibetan musical instruments, such as dranyen, flute and piwang.
