Winrock International India (WII) is a non-profit organization working in the areas of natural resources management, clean energy and climate change. WIIs mission is to ‘develop and implement solutions that balance the need for food, income and environmental quality’. The thrust of their efforts are to encourage and empower primary users of natural resources to sustainably manage the resources that they depend on using participatory approaches, and develop long-term strategies to adopt livelihoods of their choice.
