Center for Environment Education - Himalaya is an initiative of CEE India. The centre focuses on mountain ecosystems. It promotes environmental awareness to generate support for sustainable development. The primary objective is to sustain the ecological balance and improve the quality of life in the mountains. CEE Himalaya is meant to strengthen CEE's environmental education and communication interventions in the Himalayan region in India and subsequently in the neighbouring countries, and initiate programmes based on the felt needs.
