| Description/Purpose: |
It is aimed at helping the original residents (Mul Niwasi) of Uttarakhand in setting up tourism related entrepreneurships. |

| Particulars: |
Rs. 5 lakhs is the maximum amount of loan offered under this scheme. The beneficiary is to bear 12.5 per cent of the total project cost. The various tourism enterprises that cane be set up under this scheme include – hotel/motel, fast food centres, souvenir shops, PCO with tourist information centre, tentage (i.e. a place where tent equipments are available), vehicles (bus, taxi, etc.) |

| Eligibility criteria: |
| The applicant must be an original resident (Mul Niwasi) of Uttarakhand. In case he wants to offer vehicle service (bus, taxi, etc.) to tourists, then he must also have at least 5 years of commercial license.
