To impart technical and vocational education to persons with disabilities so that they can get gainful wage/self employment
All the Funds required will be taken care by the Central Government

Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, have selected 50 Institutions in the country to impart technical and vocational education to persons with disabilities so that they can get gainful wage/self employment. in J & K state this institution is among several other institutions selected for this purpose. Under this scheme the institutions has total 25 reserved seats for persons with disabilities in various long term Diploma courses.
The following short term non-formal programs will be launched for persons with disabilities.
1. Transformer Design and Fabrication.
2. Motor Winding.
3. Data Enter Operators.
4. Cutting and Tailoring.
5. Radio and TV Servicing.
6. Needle Works and Embroidery Making.

Any disabled 10th pass person can take admission in the polytechnic college in J&K.
