| Description/Purpose: |
The Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana shall rest on a foundation of community empowerment. Rather than relying on the traditional method of top down implementation, this programme shall rely on establishing and promoting community organisations and structures to provide supporting and facilitating mechanism for local development. |

Swarana Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana is sponsor by both central and state government. The Development of Women and Child in Urban Areas group society shall be entitled to a subsidy of Rs. 1, 25,000 or 50% of the cost of project. To avail the scheme, one may contact Chief Executive Officer, Jammu Urban Development Agency (JUDA) and Srinagar Urban Development Agency (SUDA) |
