"We should get some support to develop ourselves. Like other places this place should also get developed, like in education, in music and dance. There should be development in such cultural activities as well. There have been some changes here in Ladakh, in the clothes we wear, language and in the way we behave. However, during festivals or funerals we have to follow our traditions and customs. In a way change is good but the loss of culture that accompanies such change is not."
