Voluntary Agencies or NGOs can be contacted to avail the scheme. Under the scheme voluntary agencies are given financial assistance by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on the recommendation of the State Government.
The Scheme of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, simplifies and facilitates procedure for easy access to govt. support for NGOs with the aim to widen the scope and range of programmes. Eligible NGOs who wish to obtain the financial assistance must submit the proposals through the State Govt, who will scrutiny the proposals and as per feasibility recommend for financial assistance.
The scheme has been modified to include the project “District Disability Rehabilitation Centre”. |
