The scheme aims to promote women entrepreneurship and provide assistance to disabled women for business and entrepreneurship activities with comparatively low gestation period, to obtain the desired results at faster rate and motivate throughout the business process.

The scheme intends to uplift the income and living standard of the physically and mentally challenged women. Application forms are available for Rs.10/- each at the office of the Development Officer concerned. Instructions for completing the application are included with the form itself.

1. Certificate from the Chief Medical Officer or Medical Board (for disability)
2. proof of age
3. attested document on income level from Tehsildar
4. resident proof of Jammu and Kashmir
5. in case of technical trade attested copy of certificate for educational qualification
6. an affidavit in the prescribed format

Any woman with 40% disability or more, between 18-45 years of age, having an annual income of Rs. 1 lakh or less for urban areas and Rs. 80,000 or less for rural areas, resident of Jammu and Kashmir, having relevant educational qualification (in case of technical trade) and not a defaulter with any financial institution.
