Tsampa-Goork
Material: Wood.
Description: This is a round wooden container with a lid.
Use: It is usually used in the households to store flour.

Material: Silk, Yak hair (sometimes goat hair is used)
Description: This is a hat usually made of silk, with a few yak hair on the border.
Use: Used by the men during local traditional dances.
Used by: The men of Leh district, Jammu & Kashmir, India, in the Western Himalayas.

Description: It is a traditional hat made of silk and yak hair, usually highly decorated.
Use: The men of Ladakh wear it during local traditional dances.

Yonchab-Ting
Material: Silver
Description: These are small, round bowls made of silver.
Use: These are filled with water and placed in front of the idol of gods during the religious ceremonies. They should not come in contact with each other, while in use.
Used by: The Buddhist people of Tawang region of Arunachal Pradesh, India, in the Eastern Himalayas.

Zeleng
Material: Clay
Description: This is a round earthen pot, could be of different sizes. This is also known as ‘Deek’ or ‘Phee’.
Use: It is used in the process of distillation of the local wine ‘Rukshi’. The ‘Zeleng’ covered with a fine cloth is placed on a stand with a bigger aluminum pot half filled with fermented rice/millet set for boiling. Above the aluminum pot, another container with cold water helps to condense the vapours. The condensed liquid is collected in the ‘Zeleng’.
Used by: The people of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, India, in the Eastern Himalayas.

Zong
Material: Bamboo
Description: This is a bamboo basket made of a close weave of bamboo strips. It is equipped with a bamboo belt. The 'Zong' is hung against the back and supported by a belt strung across the forehead. It is made in different sizes.
Use: It is used for carrying firewood and dried leaves.
Used by: The people of Tawang region of Arunachal Pradesh, India, in the Eastern Himalayas.
