This is a round earthen pot, could be of different sizes. This is also known as ‘Deek’ or ‘Phee’. |

It is used in the process of distillation of the local wine ‘Rukshi’. The ‘Zeleng’ covered with a fine cloth is placed on a stand with a bigger aluminum pot half filled with fermented rice/millet set for boiling. Above the aluminum pot, another container with cold water helps to condense the vapours. The condensed liquid is collected in the ‘Zeleng’. |
